Obituary for Lorraine Roberts
Lorraine F. Roberts, 86, of Trivoli passed away on Monday, January 8, 2018 at her residence. She was born April 28, 1931 in Tyler, MN to Clarence and Mary Drennen Holmes. She married Gerald E. Roberts in Bloomington on August 4, 1967; he preceded her in death November 16, 2014. Her parents; daughter, Mary Williams; son, Perry Roberts and three brothers also preceded her in death. She is survived by her children, Bonnie (Phil) Merriman, Gary (Debbie) Roberts, Jessie Hunter, Linda (Bob) Monari, Bill Duhs, Christine (Andrew) Baner, Jim Duhs, Bob (Lisa) Duhs 21 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren. Lorraine was fun and witty, always the life of any party. Her "creative" holiday costumes were second to NONE. She enjoyed Bingo, fishing, mushroom hunting, blanket making, and her furbabies, Hutchie and Charlie. A memorial service honoring Lorraine and her husband, Gerald will be held on Friday, January 26, 2018 at 11 a.m. with time to greet the family from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Mt. Hawley Community Church 6900 N. Mt. Hawley Rd. Peoria, IL. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
