Obituary for Loretta Baker
Loretta L. Baker, 80, of Pekin passed away Monday, February 25, 2019 at UnityPoint Health Proctor in Peoria. She was born July 7, 1938 in Peoria to Lester and Evelyn Lowe Kinney. Her parents; sister, Carol Sherman and son-in-law, Daniel Carroll preceded her in death. She is survived by her children, Debra Carroll, Melissa Stevens; grandchildren, Austin Martin, Lauren Martin, Dustina Stevens, Skyler Stevens, Jarred Stevens and great-grandson, Joshua Martin. Loretta enjoyed playing slot machines, bingo, eating fried chicken and collecting bird statues. She loved her UAW family but most of all spending time especially the holidays with her family. Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2019 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the UAW in Pekin.
