Obituary for Lois A. Hundemer
Lois A. Hundemer 71, of Peoria Heights passed away on Friday October 31, 2008. Born in Peoria to Lewis and Lorraine Harmon Williams on March 13, 1937. She married Robert Hundemer in Missouri in 1964, he preceded her in death on July 15, 1994. Also proceeding were her parents, 1 grandson and 1 great grandson. Lois is survived by children; Connie Owens of Bartonville, Robert (Sheryl) Hundemer of Peoria Heights, set-daughters; Friday (Barry) Herman of Havana, Judy (Dick) Bush of Chillicothe, sisters; Barbara (Bill) Smith of Springfield, Jackie Rhoades of North Carolina, 7 grand, 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was the owner and operator of The Place in Peoria Heights, The Alcove on Knoxville in Peoria and Mity-Tidy cleaners, retiring in 2003. Lois was a member of the Navy Marine Club in Peoria Hieghts. A graveside service for family and friends will be held on Thursday at 3 p.m. at St. Mary’s Cemetery in West Peoria. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to P.A.W.S.
