Obituary for Linna Helms
Linna M. Helms, 65, of Peoria Heights passed away Friday, September 27, 2019 at her residence. She was born June 12, 1954 in Peoria to Mervil and Alma Durbin Knapp. She married Steven E. Helms Sr. July 10, 1984; he survives. She is also survived by her children, Lynea F. (Antonio) Garcia, Raye Hosbrough, Wendy Helms, Steven E. Helms Jr.; grandchildren, Antonio L. (Emily) Garcia, Richard Hosbrough III, Tristan Hosbrough, Sienna Hosbrough, Angelle Garcia, Jesse Garcia, Andrez Garcia, Alex Pier, Alexis Pier, Emma Helms, Sara Helms great-grandchildren, Greycen Garcia, Ellianna Garcia and siblings, Glenda Sander and Carol (John) Hopple. Her parents; sister, Rose Knapp and brother-in-law, Vernon Sander preceded her in death. Linna loved traveling, baking but most of all she loved her family. Cremation has been accorded and services will be held at a later date.
