Linda L. Lampson, 77, of Sparland passed away Monday, November 25, 2024, at Carle Health Proctor in Peoria.
She was born May 29, 1947, in Sparland to Charles and Alvina Kear Davis.
She married James L. Lampson on October 15, 1966, in Sparland; he preceded her in death April 20, 2018. Her son, Patrick J. Lampson; parents and brothers, Ron Davis and Bill Davis also preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children, Kerry (Tod) McLauchlan, Casey (Jeremy) Swanson, James (Sue) Lampson; grandchildren, Amber Swanson, Timothy Swanson, Steven Case, Christopher (Aleena) Case, Kyle Case, Colton Dralle, Hunter Dralle, Hanna Dralle; great-grandchildren, James Graze, Porter Swanson, Weston Swanson and siblings, Fonda (Tim) Fitschen and Jody Dunn.
Linda worked as a beautician until retiring in 1997.
She loved her entire family. She was the life of the party, especially theme parties. Linda was an avid BINGO JUNKIE. She was a wonderful cook, and she kept memories and stories alive. Linda loved helping in any way possible with raising all of her grandchildren.
Cremation has been accorded and services will be held at a later date.
