Obituary for Linda Eckhold
Linda M. Eckhold, 71, of Peoria passed away Thursday, January 10, 2013 at OSF St. Francis Hospital in Peoria. She was born November 18, 1941 to Otto Samuel and Dorothy Rose Jacobs Buhs Jr. She married James M. Bill Sr. in Peoria on July 4, 1959. She later married Edward S. Eckhold in Peoria on December 31, 1984. He survives along with her children, James (Ruth) Bill Jr. of Williamsfield, Helen Rose (Burdell Rice) Cain of Peoria, Tammy (Curt) Davis of Farmington, Otto S. (Tina) Bill of Peoria, Sean E. (Jennifer) Eckhold of Peoria, Heather (Steve) Fitzanko of Pekin; 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; brothers, Otto S. (Judy) Buhs III of Brimfield, Oliver (Shirley) Buhs of Peoria and several nieces and nephews. She was prececed in death by her parents and sister, Georgia Bush. Linda enjoyed her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed puzzles, fishing and her flowers. Cremation has been accorded and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to her family to assist with arrangements.
