Obituary for Linda DiOdoardo
Linda M. DiOdoardo, 68, of Peoria passed away peacefully on Friday, June 29, 2018 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria. She was born on November 18, 1949 to Arthur and Elanor Chrestenson Mohn. She married Sergio DiOdoardo in 1994. She is survived by her children, Hank Broeren, Erika Mitchell, and Wendalyn Buis; her grandchildren, Anna and Eleanor Gentry, and Erin Mitchell; her sister, Beverly Ulbricht as well as a large extended family. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, and her precious grandson, Austin Gentry. Linda attended Holy Family Catholic Church, where she was very involved. She attended daily mass as long as she was able. She had many jobs in her life including a dental hygienist, cocktail server, and a teacher's aide, working with special needs children. Linda enjoyed her children and grandchildren. She was a very caring and loving soul. She loved pasta, art, music, flowers, cooking and was known for always keeping a clean house. She had a keen sense of humor. She prayed daily for everyone she knew. Cremation has been accorded and a memorial mass will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Peoria. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Holy Family Catholic School or OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in her name.
