Obituary for Lester R. Rench Jr.
Lester R. Rench, Jr., 64, of Morton passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born September 1, 1959, in Pekin to Lester R. and Phyllis Schmider Rench Sr. His parents and brother-in-law, Dan Childress preceded him in death.
He is survived by his children, Michele (Matt) Budin; Gregory Williams, Madeline Grube, Margaret Rench; granddaughters, Ashlyn Budin, Anastasia Budin; sister, Tammy Childress and nephew, Steven (Erica) Childress.
Lester loved his dogs, cats and cars. He was a devoted brother and uncle. He was Illinois’s largest dog trainer and was the proud owner and operator of Central Illinois K-9. He was loved by everyone.
Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
