Obituary for LeRoy D. Jackson
LeRoy D. Jackson, 95, of Washington, Illinois passed away Sunday, October 22, 2023, at Apostolic Christian Home in Roanoke, Illinois.
He was born on April 29, 1928, in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Orville and Geneva Jackson.
He married Joyce Meischner in Peoria, Illinois on March 26, 1950. She passed away on November 9, 2010. He was also preceded in death by one son, one brother and one sister.
He was a World War II veteran in the Navy, and a truck driver his whole life.
Surviving are his three daughters, two sons-in-law, one daughter-in-law, six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Cremation has been accorded and no services are scheduled.
