Obituary for Kimberly Lynn Nimmo Broombaugh
Kimberly Lynn Nimmo Broombaugh, 62, of Morton passed away Sunday, January 28, 2024, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born April 15, 1961, in Peoria to William and Jennifer Cordle Nimmo.
She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Broombaugh-46, Wendi Broombaugh-39, Amy Broombaugh-35; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; parents, William and Jennifer Nimmo and sisters, Debi Nimmo and Tracy (Mark) Mckeown.
Kim graduated from Methodist College of Nursing and pursued a dream working as a nurse. She was a natural caretaker.
She enjoyed gardening, shopping, Florida-any beach theme and laying on the beach in the sun. She loved her daytime TV drama and spooky movies. Kim’s music was always turned up loud, she really enjoyed it.
Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be determined at a later date.
