Obituary for Kevin Gibson
Kevin A. Gibson, 55, of Pekin passed away Monday, September 18, 2017 at UnityPoint Health Methodist in Peoria. He was born February 1, 1962 in Peoria to Clayton and Lela Medley Gibson. His parents; sister, Billie Kay and brothers, Donald Buttram, Kenneth Perkins, Ronnie Gibson and Steve Gibson preceded him in death. He is survived by his brothers, Lonnie Gibson, Bobby (Sharon) Gibson and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Kevin was a truck driver for K & R Company in Mapleton. He enjoyed driving his truck and his Pit Bulls. He loved his family, children, laughing, joking and helping others. He was loved by many people and will be greatly missed. Per his wishes cremation has been accorded and services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society and St. Jude in his name.
