Obituary for Kent Grubb
Kent E. Grubb, 50, of Creve Coeur passed away of cancer on Tuesday, February 23, 2010. Kent was born on September 13, 1959 in Fort Wayne, IN to Sharon and Eric Grubb. His father preceded him in death. Surviving are his mother and step dad Bill Hull of Marquette Heights, IL; his brother Brent Grubb of Nashville, TN; his sister Ann Newman of Irmo, SC; his daughter, Ashley Grubb of Davenport, IA and grandchildren Brayden and Hailee Hart. Kent graduated from Washington Community High School in 1978 after which he served in the military for 6 years as a tank driver. He was an avid bicyclist and enjoyed spending time with his friends at the Variety Club. In lieu of a service, a celebration of life will be held at the Variety Club in East Peoria on Friday, March 12, 2010 starting at 3:00 pm.
