Kenneth W. Bartlett, 75, of Pekin passed away Friday, September 20, 2024, at his residence.
He was born October 28, 1948, in Peoria to Stanley Lloyd and Betty Lee Wilcken Bartlett. His parents; sisters, Donna Hochstetler, Phyllis Scheuers and brother, Larry Bartlett preceded him in death.
He is survived by is children, Keith Bartlett, Kevin Bartlett, Angi Vance, Chris Jones; grandchildren, Kody Vance, Alexander Lee Bartlett, Hayley Vance, Leslie Jones; sister, Vicky Eckhardt; niece, Angela Welchel and nephew, John Eckhardt.
Kenneth served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era and served in Alaska and Georgia. He worked for Keystone for 38 ½ years retiring July 31, 2010.
He attended Pekin Community High School and New Hope Bible Fellowship of Pekin. He was a member of AMVETS.
Kenneth metal detected for 43 years finding many coins and jewelry. He was an avid bowler with a high game of 279 and high series of 757.
Cremation has been accorded and a graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 18, 2024, at the War Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Pekin.
