Obituary for Kenneth James Whaley
Kenneth James Whaley, 70, of Washington passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at his residence.
He was born August 24, 1954, in Freeport to Leland D. and Doris Kay Long Whaley. His parents and brothers, Rick Whaley and Randy Whaley preceded him in death.
Kenneth is survived by his children, Chris (Jenny) Whaley, Dustin (Amy) Whaley, Jodie (Matt Pyror) Whaley, Kenny (Debbie) Whaley, Jamey Whaley; grandchildren, Kinzley, Megan, Hunter, Avery, Maverick, Kaitlyn, Melody, Emma, Brayden, Alyssa, Brandon; great-grandchildren, Aviyana, Haven; siblings, Ron Whaley, Terry Whaley and sister-in-law, Joanie Whaley.
He loved his family and taught them to play musical instruments. Kenneth played in several bands and made his family musically inclined. He was a long-time painter and got his kids into the trade.
Cremation has been accorded and a private celebration of life will be held.
