Obituary for Kenneth D. Prather
Kenneth D. Prather, 62, of Chillicothe passed away Sunday, October 8, 2023, at his residence.
He was born April 21, 1961, in Peoria to Richard and Ruby Trobough Prather. His parents; stepmother, Bertha; stepfather, Ed; daughter, Judy Hertz; grandparents, Lyman Hughes, Theo Hughes and brother, Steve Kroll preceded him in death.
He married Shari L. Braun April 21, 2001, in Peoria County; she survives. He is also survived by his son, Jason Prather; siblings, Linda Prather, Vicki Prather, Tom (Karen) Kroll, Pat (Charlie) McAllister and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Kenneth worked for Streitmatter Services retiring June 29, 2023.
He loved riding his Harley, playing pool and being with his family and friends.
Cremation has been accorded and no services will be held.
