Obituary for Kathleen Schertz
Kathleen Marie Schertz, 71, of Delavan passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 15, 2018 after a short battle with cancer with family by her at home. Kathleen was the daughter of Glenn and Dorothy Birky. Kathleen married Paul Litwiller then Mike Runyon. Later Kathleen married Richard Schertz; he survives along with three children, Missy Blanchett of Peoria, Terry Litwiller of Springfield, OH, Heather Schertz of Normal; two step-sons, Rick Schertz of Peoria Heights, Robert Schertz of Wadsworth, OH; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Her parents and one grandson, T.J. Forsyth preceded her in death. She was of Baptist faith. Cremation has been accorded and burial will be held at a later time. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Baptist Church, Circle of Love or OSF Hospice in her name.
