Obituary for Katherine Patricia Wissler
Katherine Patricia Wissler, 75, of East Peoria passed away Sunday, June 18, 2023, at River Crossing of East Peoria.
She was born July 6, 1947, in Greenville, IL to Joseph Young and Florence Smith. She married Richard Wissler; he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents; adoptive parents, June & Earl Zobrist; eight sisters and four brothers.
She is survived by her son, Michael Marshall; adoptive daughter, Carla Seloover; stepchildren, Rick (Virginia) Wissler, Barb (Rodney) Lange, Ruth (Chuck) Terviel, Kathy Danzer, Lorie (Gary) Wissler; ten grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and brother, Donald Herbert Young.
Katherine loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved pink, the holidays, roses and looking out the window enjoying nature. She enjoyed crafting, art, listening to music and decorating. Katherine helped everyone.
Cremation has been accorded. She was a member of Ro-Land Manor Baptist Church 2433 Washington Rd., Washington, IL 61571 where a celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2023.
Memorial contributions may be made to the church in her name.
