Obituary for Karen Lohnes
Karen L. Lohnes, 72, of 230 Court St., Pekin, IL., passed away on Fri., Dec. 14th., 2012, at St. Francis Hospital in Peoria, IL., with loved ones by her side. She was born Oct. 27, 1940 in Kingston Mines, IL., to parents Edward and Gladys Palmer Pagan and Karen married Dale Lohnes on Dec. 12, 1959 and he preceded her in death. They were blessed with a daughter, Lori E. Lohnes Zach/Wendy of Ottawa, IL. Survivors also include three sisters, Betty Calhoun, Donna Williams/Melvin, Mary Lou/Ray Sheffield, all of Arizona. Also, Dixie L./Vilis Spiker of Oquauka, IL., and several nieces and nephews. Preceding in death besides her parents is a sister, Helen Scott/Harold, a brother, Edward “Sam” Pagan/Carol, and another brother, Robert Pagan. Karen will be sadly missed by loved ones that will miss her laughter, her giving spirit, and a great sense of humor. No services are planned. Cremation accorded.
