June M. Jibben, 83, of Dunlap passed away Sunday, May 22, 2022, at her residence.
She was born July 18, 1938, in Peoria to Benjamin and Marjorie Pullen Johnson.
She married Kenneth D. Jibben; he preceded her in death February 28, 1997. Her parents; son, Eugene Jibben; infant brother, John; brother, Benny and great-grandson, Nolan Edward Jibben also preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children, Mark (Mary Lewis) Jibben, Marie Jibben; fourteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
June worked for the Peoria County Farm Bureau retiring in 1991.
She loved her family and her dogs, Harley, and Muffin. She also loved gardening, canning, sewing, and cooking. She enjoyed traveling. She was a member of Prospect United Methodist Church and Peoria-Tazewell A.B.A.T.E. of Illinois.
The family appreciates and would like to thank the Dunlap Fire & Rescue and UnityPoint Hospice.
Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at Prospect United Methodist Church in Dunlap at a later date.
