Julie Ann Polk, 58, of Sesser passed away Monday, September 23, 2024, at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.
She was born June 2, 1966, in Pekin to Don and Sandra Belcner Lemons.
She married Mark Groomer; he preceded her in death in 2021. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, CaSandra; father, Donald Lemons; mother, Sandra Bolton and brother, Clint Lemons.
She is survived by her children, Jonathon Polk, Timothy Polk Sr.; grandchildren, Cassandra, Cassie, Sandy, Timothy Jr.; siblings, Deana (Matthew) Murray, Ken (Sheila) Lemons, Michele (Shawn) Harshbarger, Phillip (Donna) Ross; stepmother, Patricia Lemons and many nieces and nephews.
Julie loved her family, the outdoors, camping, playing Bingo, fishing and her animals. Julie was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
