Obituary for Judith M. Traver
Judith M. Traver, 83, of Chillicothe passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2023, in Spring Bay.
She was born January 26, 1940, in Peoria County to Edwin and Erma Taylor Dunbar.
She married Ronald E. Traver July 31, 1959, in Edelstein; he preceded her in death September 18, 2015. Her son, Ronald N. Traver; parents; brothers, Gene Dunbar, James Dunbar and sister, Ann Davis also preceded her in death.
She is survived by her son, James D. (Dee) Traver; daughter-in-law, Susan O. Traver; grandchildren, Christopher Traver, Brienna Traver, Marrissa D. Giles, Jeremiah P. Traver, Micheilei G. Traver; step-granddaughter, Nichole M. Minton; siblings, Fred (Jana) Dunbar, Ken (Kathy) Dunbar and niece, Pam (Michael) Hennessy.
Judith worked for the CDC.
She loved her family and was devoted to her grandkids. She enjoyed camping, nature, bird watching, Sunday rides and sitting by the river watching the Eagles.
Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
