Obituary for Judith Draper
Judith K. Draper, 77, of Morton lost her courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease on Monday, January 8, 2018 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born January 18, 1940 in Galesburg to Wallace and Geraldine “Jeri” Andrews Stegens. Her parents; sister, Beverly “Bev” Burnett and granddaughter, Shawn K. Wise preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy (William) Blake of North Pekin; sons, James Kirkpatrick of Shirley, Rick Kirkpatrick of Troy; brother, David Stegens; grandchildren, Dawn (Jeremy) Veal, Derek (Mandy) Wise, Andrew (Katrina) Kirkpatrick, Sean Kirkpatrick, Taran Pinnell, Bianca Kirkpatrick, Savanah Kirkpatrick, Ryan Kirkpatrick and great-grandchildren, British Wise, Kiya Veal, Drew Kirkpatrick, Sofie Kirkpatrick, Bethany Pinnell and Violet Rana. Judy spent 25 plus years as a property manager in and around the Pekin area. She was an avid dancer and loved country music. She enjoyed dancing with her friends at the American Legion. She also loved decorating and flipping houses. Judy never met a stranger. Cremation has been accorded. There will be no visitation or funeral services. A private celebration of her life will take place at a later date.
