Obituary for Judith Ann Hoffman
Judith Ann Hoffman, 75, of Peoria Heights, IL went to be with Jesus on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at Cornerstone Rehabilitation & Health Care Center.
Judy was born on April 11, 1948, in Chicago, IL to Wilbur and Mary Peeling Shiverdecker. Judy was one of fourteen children.
On August 27, 1966, she married Ray Hoffman. They were married 57 years. Together they had three wonderful children, Patty, John, and Julie.
Judy was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and baking for her family. She loved her family fiercely. Judy loved seek-n-find puzzles, Hallmark Christmas movies, Little House on the Prairie, and camping. While camping Judy loved to sit around the bonfire, share memories and laugh. Until the Coyotes started howling, then she said goodnight and went to bed…Quickly.
Surviving is her husband, Ray Hoffman of Peoria Heights; son, John (Jennifer) Hoffman of Dunlap; daughter, Julie (Dennis) Butler of Dunlap; three grandsons; four great-grandchildren; two brothers and many sisters.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Patty Hoffman-Manley, and an unknown number of siblings.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service and celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to Transitions Hospice in her name.
