Obituary for Joyce Means
Joyce Marie Means, 80, of East Peoria passed away Saturday September 29, 2012 at Washington Christian Village in Washington. She was born November 12, 1931 in Pontiac, IL to Earl and Beulah Shoop Ackley. She married Paul Means June 27, 1949 in Henderson, KY; he preceded her in death August 5, 2005. She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Timothy; two brothers and son-in-law, Mark Russell. She is survived by her daughters, Charlene (Jerry) Creel of Forest Grove, OR, Karen (Ken) Grebner of Germantown Hills and Paula Russell of Peoria; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; two brothers and three sisters. Cremation has been accorded by the Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co. Pekin/Peoria and a memorial service will be held Wednesday October 3, 2012 at Wilton Mortuary in Peoria at 3:00 p.m.
