Obituary for Joyce Lynnette Hope
Joyce Lynnette Hope, 62, of Peoria passed away Friday, September 17, 2021 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

She was born July 1, 1959 in Charleston, MO to Raymond “Skipper” Roosevelt Jenkins and Dorothy Jean Hope-Adeniyi. Her parents and brothers, Victor Jenkins and Cassius Hope preceded her in death.

She is survived by her children, Kandyce Williams, Kenyetta Williams, Keanna Randle, Rick Ranson, Yaisha Marshall and her bonus son, Derrick Anderson.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Sentaries Farmer Jr, Sentravies Farmer, Sentariana Farmer, Semia Thomas, U’Landus Marshall, Ka’Reem Foster, Nymari Ranson, Landus Marshall, Nuri Ranson, Jovon Williams Jr., Jonathan Baldwin Jr. and Iyla Ranson.

Her surviving siblings, Annette Hope, Raymond Jenkins, Jeffery Lynn Hope, Alvin Wayne Hope, Juanita Hope, Thejoal Hope and Joyce Jones.

Joyce had a loving heart and would do anything for anyone. She loved her kids and grandkids and loved her mother dearly. She also loved to cook for her family. She enjoyed to BBQ, watch Lifetime and Fatal Attraction, listening to Johnny Taylor and other oldies music. She also enjoyed getting her nails done and shopping for new clothes. Everyone that knew Joyce was touched by her love. She will be dearly missed.

Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 3, 2021 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Landmark Recreation Center 3225 N Dries Lane, Peoria, IL 61604.
