Obituary for Joseph Stallings
Joseph Robert Stallings, 69, of Green Valley passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at his residence. He was born March 1, 1949 in Pekin to Earl and Mary Long Stallings. He married Vicki Fredrickson July 26, 1969 in Pekin; she survives. He is also survived by his children, Erika (Jerry) Goodman, Mallory Ross; grandchildren, Kristin Dunniway, Kali Dunniway, Alisha Dunniway; great-grandchildren, Kaiden, Kyler, Charley, Emmey; siblings, Judy Angermeier, Jerry Stallings and many nieces and nephews. His parents and son, Laytn Stallings preceded him in death. Joseph served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He worked on the railroad for Chicago Northwestern until retirement. His brother Jerry was a devoted caregiver to Joe. He loved fishing, hunting and having fun with his friends. Per his wishes cremation has been accorded and services will be held at a later date.
