Obituary for Joseph Guerrero
Joseph A. Guerrero, 76, of Peoria Heights passed away at 11:57 am on Tuesday October 9, 2012 at Heartland Care Center in Peoria, Illinois. Joe was born on May 21, 1936 in Peoria, the son of Louis and Rosa Guerrero. Joe married Anna Mae Elliott on March 20th, 1970 in Peoria, she preceded him in death on January 13, 1994. Joe was also preceded in death by his parents, wife, a daughter Terri, a sister Mary and brothers Louis, Cruise, Cyril, and Johnny. He is survived by his son Greg (Jennie) and grandchildren Elizabeth and Jackson of Peoria, Randy of Peoria, sisters Toni (Hernandez) of Sterling and Teresa (Ervin) of Peoria, brother Rey of Lacon and many nieces and nephews. Joe was a hard working and proud American who served in the Army and retired from Isaac Walker Co after over 30 years of service in 1993. Joe will be remembered as a creative and fun loving father, brother and uncle, he will be missed by all who knew him. Cremation rights have been accorded and a graveside service will be held at Swan Lake Cemetery in Peoria at 1 pm on Friday October 26, 2012.
