John William Van Ormer, 63, of Peoria died Monday, July 22, 2019 at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. John was born September 15, 1955 in Macomb, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents; George W. Van Ormer and Barbara J. Van Ormer. One sister survives, Carol A. (Rick E.) Hallor of Peoria, three nephews, and numerous cousins.
John worked in the food service industry at local restaurants for many years. He last worked for Aramark in Peoria, IL.
Cremation has been accorded and private services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the OSF Saint Francis Medical Center Palliative Care Department, 530 NE Glen Oak Ave, Peoria, IL 61637.
