Obituary for John Troxell
John W. Troxell, 67, of Pekin passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born December 9, 1947 in Peoria to Wesley and Barbara Tinkham Troxell. He married Diana Callaway March 10, 1981 in Pekin. She survives along with his daughter, Tina (Tracy) Troxell-Phillips of Pekin; beloved dogs, Boo, Cujo, Cocoa and beloved dog-grandchildren, Killer, Sophia and Bruno. He was preceded in death by his parents. He served in the U.S. Army. John was a beloved husband and father. He was an animal lover and collected die-cast cars. A private family service will be held Monday, January 19, 2015.
