Obituary for John J. Stone
John “Jack” Joseph Stone 62, of Manito passed away on Sunday March 12, 2017 at OSF St. Francis Hospital. Born February 20, 1955 in Peoria to Louis and Honoria Semick Stone. He is survived by his daughter Shannon Lebron, siblings: Carol Moehring, Pat (Howard) Smith, Richard (Rebecca) Stone, Rita (Scott) Michael, Ralph (Stormy) Stone, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and the mother of his child Janet Stone. His parents, brother James Stone and sister Bernadine Mason preceded him in death. Jack was a Deck Hand on Barges and loved fishing, being on the water and listening to music. He was a member of the Peoria Sportsman’s Club. Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorials can be made to the American Heart Association.
