Obituary for John E. Noonan
John E. Noonan, 90, of Pekin passed away Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Timber Creek Rehab in Pekin. He was born July 8, 1927 in Belleville to James and Leona Kaufman Noonan. He married Alida Tenney; she preceded him in death in 2003. His parents also preceded him in death. He is survived by his daughters, Julia Massey, Jennifer (David) Stone; grandchildren, Addeline Stone, Elizabeth Stone, Todd (Cynthia) Dahlhoff, Tory (Emily) Dahlhoff, Jonathan Massey, great-grandchildren, Coyte Dahlhoff, Arlo Dahlhoff and brother, James Noonan. John honorably served in the U.S. Army. He worked for DCSR in St. Louis, MO; retiring in 1982. He was a Mason and a member of St. John’s UCC in Fairview Heights. He was an avid reader and loved his family. Per his wishes cremation has been accorded and no services will be held.
