Obituary for John Dodd Jr.
John E. Dodd Jr., 57, of Morton, IL flew with the Angels on Saturday, May 25, 2019 in Pekin, IL. He was born June 24, 1961 in Great Lakes, IL to John E. Dodd Sr. and Sharon Swanson. He married his best friend, Jackie Whitwell Hammack on September 17, 2008; she survives. He is also survived by his daughter and pride & joy, Brittanee (Chayse) Whitney of Mason City, IA; mother, Sharon Swanson of Minneapolis, MN and stepmother, Coral “Kokie” Dodd of Canton, IL. His father, John E. Dodd Sr. preceded him in death. John worked for Caterpillar. He grew up in Minneapolis, MN where hunting and fishing were his passion. He was a proud member of the UAW Local 974. “It was always you and me against the world baby.” Cremation has been accorded and private family services will be held.
