Obituary for John Davison
John Michael “Mike” Davison, 57, of Canton passed away Wednesday October 19, 2011 at 3:15 a.m. at his residence. He was born October 3, 1954, in Monmouth, IL to John D. and Charlotte A. (Balagna) Davison. He married JoAnne (Stubbs) Davison on March 14, 1979 in Las Vegas, NV. She survives, also surviving are two sons, Joseph Davison of Canton and Michael Davison of Canton; one daughter, Samantha Davison of Canton; four grandchildren; his father, John Davison of Canton; one sister, Alicia (Phillip) Nebergall of Farmington; one brother, Scott Davison of Byron and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother. He worked as a skilled welder, a profession he loved. Mike enjoyed gardening, was an avid mushroom hunter, and being with his family and pets. Cremation has been accorded and a Celebration of Life will be at Montery United Methodist Church in Montery Monday October 24, 2011 from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorials may be made to the K.A.R.E. of Canton.
