Obituary for John Clark
John Robert Clark, 67, of Deer Creek, IL formerly of Laura, IL passed away Sunday, June 9, 2019 at his residence with his family by his side. He was born August 5, 1951 in Kewanee to Robert E. and Betty M. Gordon Clark. His parents; sister, Pamela Mudro and brother, Chris Clark preceded him in death. His is survived by his children, Kari L. Clark, Andy (Deanna) Clark; grandchildren, Haleigh (Christian) Lane, Colton (Kayla) Clark, Braden Clark, Sydney Stolte, Breanna Clark, Keagan (Ashely) Miller, Cassie Miller, Caleb Miller, Christian Miller; many great-grandchildren; nieces, Victoria Mudro, Cathy Mudro; loving and devoted companion, Anita Lorence and her children, Robert Lorence, George Lorence and their children. John served in the U.S. Army Reserves and worked at R&N Trucking in Princeville until retiring October 7, 2018. He loved his family, gathering to skeet shoot, the outdoors, his Harley, car, mowing on the tractor and his CB Radio where he was known as “Clem Kadiddlehopper” to his CB friends. John loved to surprise people, his Pepsi and watching movies especially with family during holidays. He was an NRA life endowment member and a member of the American Legion Post #416 and was a Mason at Masonic Lodge #243 in Galva, IL. Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 14, 2019 from 12 noon to 4 p.m. with a Masonic Service at 1 p.m. at the American Legion Post #91, 105 N. Main Ave., Wyoming, IL 61491. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family to assist with arrangements.
