Obituary for JoAnn Janssen
JoAnn Janssen, 92, of Peoria, IL passed away Saturday, December 25, 2021, at her residence.
She was born September 7, 1929, in Kansas to Oliver C. and Eva Marie Cook Hoerman.
She married John E. Janssen on November 28, 1947, in Peoria; he preceded her in death November 24, 2015. Her parents; brother, Larry Hoerman and granddaughter, Michelle Hewitson also preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children, Pam (Larry) Hawkins of Edelstein, IL, Doug (Julie) Janssen of Ft. Myers, FL, Penny Wiemer of Bonita Springs, FL, and Jayne (Steve) De Bruyn of Urbana, IL; eight grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation has been accorded and services will be announced at a later date.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude in her name.
