Obituary for Joan Williams
Joan Arlene Williams, 81, of Morton passed away Thursday, May 30, 2013 at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria. She was born January 13, 1932 in Champaign, IL to Ancil and Betty Bougher Scheiderer. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Michael Scheiderer. She is survived by her children, Deborah (Craig) Stocks of Delavan, Cris Ray of Glendale, CA, Wesley (Kim) Williams of Pekin; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Joan was a master gardener, specializing in roses and she worked with Yorkie Rescue. Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held Sunday June 9, 2013 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at her daughter, Deborah Stocks residence. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association and American Diabetes Association.
