Obituary for Joan M. Winkle
Joan M. Winkle, 73, of Peoria, IL passed away Sunday, October 12, 2025, at Carle Health Methodist in Peoria, IL.
She was born on March 10, 1952, in Duluth, MN to Arthur and Miriam Hill Fuller. Her parents; son, Anthony Winkle and brother, Steve Fuller preceded her in death.
Joan married Thomas M. Winkle on August 12, 1970, in Crystal Lake, IL; he survives. She is also survived by her children, Tyler (Christine) Winkle, Ryan (Danielle) Winkle; grandchildren, Emily, Jake, Cameron, Sara, Sean, Rogan, Oliver, Nolan; siblings, Gail (Wolfgang) Wiest, Timothy Fuller and dear lifelong friend, Mary Pirro.
She worked for CEFCU until retiring in 2014.
Joan loved her family, golfing with her friends at Timberlake Country Club, socializing and vacationing with her family and friends.
Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Timberlake Country Club in Peoria.
