Obituary for Jimmy W. Rogers
Jimmy W. Rogers 53, of 602 Joliet Rd, Marquette Heights passed away on Friday September 26, 2008 at Methodist Medical Center. Born May 14, 1955 in Detroit, MI to Coy and Vera Rogers Rogers. He married Kimberly Rogers on September 9, 1989 in Sharp Co. AR, she survives along with his mother Vera Booth of Ash flat, AR, children; Perish M. Rogers, Demi C. Rogers and Kimberly L. Martin all of Marquette Heights, Joseph J. Martin and Jason D. (Pati) Martin both of Canton, Misty M. Martin of Oregon, James M. (Anita) Martin of Ipava, Tina I. Collier of Creve Coeur, Steven J. Break (US Army) and Kyle and Cole. Also surviving, brother Larry (June) Rogers of Cherokee Village, AR, sister Ginger (Randy) Smith of Cape Gerardo, MO. and his 12 grandchildren. His father and stepfather John Booth preceded him in death. He graduated from Art School and worked as a Job Coordinator for H & H Track Works, last working November 30, 2007. Cremation has been accorded and a memorial service will be held on Monday October 6, at 3 p.m. at First Baptist Church on LaSalle Blvd in Marquette Heights. Memorials may be made to his family. The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co. is assisting the family with arrangements.
