Obituary for Jimmy C. Welker
Jimmy C. Welker, 75, of Ellisville passed away Saturday, June 13, 2020 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born April 19, 1945 in Middlegrove to Ernie and Leona McGee Welker.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Irene Pierce Welker on March 19, 2018. He was also preceded in death by his son, Jimmy C. “Bud” Welker; parents and stepfather, Berthel Holford.
He is survived by his daughter, Becky (Jason) Crane and grandchildren, Mikahla Crane and Colyn Crane.
Jimmy served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was the owner/operator of Welker’s Disposal Company. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved his family and will be greatly missed.
Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
