Obituary for Jesse W. Darr
Jesse W. Darr, 66, of Pekin passed away Friday, August 18, 2023, at Carle Health Pekin.
He was born July 23, 1957, in Pekin to Jesse M. and Betty J. Meyer Darr.
He married Donita M. Cassidy September 24, 1982, in Rolla, MO; she preceded him in death December 1, 2010. His parents; brother, James Marvin Darr and son, Zachary Cassidy Darr also preceded him in death.
He is survived by his children, Elijah M. Darr, Gabriel Darr; grandson, Ezra Darr; siblings, Anna (Richard) Garman, Janell Darr and many nieces and nephews.
Jesse served in the U.S. Navy and worked as a truck driver.
He loved fishing, hunting, cooking and holidays, especially Christmas and Super Bowl Sunday. Jesse was a hard worker.
Cremation has been accorded and services will be held at a later date.
