Obituary for Jerry Garmann
Jerry G. Garmann, 66, of Pekin passed away Wednesday November 16, 2011 at his residence. He was born June 18, 1945 in Pekin to Elmer and Lois Jacobs Garmann. He married Betty Lindquist January 29, 1967 in Brockton, MA. She survives along with his daughter, Laura Kinney of Gig Harbor, WA; sister, Judy Himmel of Pekin and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Don. Jerry served in the U.S. Navy on the U.S.S. Boston during Vietnam. He worked for Keystone Steel and Wire Co. for 31 year before retiring in 1996. Cremation has been accorded and no services will be held. Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association in his name.
