Obituary for Jeffrey Ihnes
Jeffrey S. Ihnes, 54, of Glasford passed away Friday, March 29, 2019 at Sunset Rehab and Healthcare in Canton. He was born September 3, 1964 in Canton. His father, Robert L. Ihnes and grandparents, Herman and Darlene Ihnes preceded him in death. He is survived by his step-mother, Debora Ihnes; love of his life, Dianna Segovia; son, Brandon (Maria) Ihnes; step-son, Kevin Herren and grandchildren, Chloe and Claire Ihnes. Jeffrey worked for OSF Saint Francis Hospital, Family Dollar, Pizza Factory and La Gondola. He loved music, motor cycles, hunting, the Cubs, poker runs and the Brown Jug. Jeffrey was raised by his grandparents, Herman and Darlene “Toots” Ihnes. He deeply loved his family and fought his illness to the very end and died peacefully. Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 19, 2019 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Senior Citizens Center in Glasford. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in his name.
