Obituary for Jean M. Peters
Jean M. Peters, 78, of Peoria passed away on Wednesday June 21, 2017 at her residence. She was born in LaSalle, IL on July 6, 1938 to Edward and Helen Pohar Miklavcic. She married Jimmie R. Peters on March 2, 1957 in Peoria, he preceded her in death on August 26, 2005. Also preceding were her parents and brother, James Edward Miklavcic. Jean is survived by her sons, Jeffrey (Laura) Peters, John Peters; grandchildren, Jennifer (T.J.) Bessler, Christa (Todd) Jaglinski, Eric Peters, one great-grandchild; brother, Jerry (Susan) Miklavcic; niece, Lauren and nephews, Jimmy and Jordan. Jean graduated from Manuel High School, worked as an Office Assistant for Dr. Rashid Hobecker, was a member of St. Anne’s Church, loved cooking, shopping and she especially loved her family. Cremation has been accorded and no services will be held. Memorials may be made to the Heart Association in her name.
