Obituary for Janice Rowe
Janice Rowe, 74, of East Peoria, passed away at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, November 29, 2019, at Rosewood Care Center in East Peoria.
Janice was born on July 1, 1945 in Peoria, IL to Earl and Beulah Shoop Ackley.
Surviving are her children, Gary (Lisa) Rowe, and Glenda Ortega; six grandchildren, Joey Ortega, Bobbi (Matt) Coffman, Brianna (Max) Coleman, Madeline Rowe, Jake (Ashley) Rowe and Nick Rowe and many great-grandchildren. Also surviving are three siblings and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one son, Marty Rowe.
Janice worked for years as a CNA and was very proud of the work she did. She was a kind mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family.
As per her wishes, she will be cremated, and a private family remembrance will be held.
