Obituary for Janet Tuttle
Janet Tuttle, age 81, died August 27, 2018 in Pekin, Illinois and was born December 30, 1936 in Peoria, Illinois.
Janet was preceded in death by her first husband and father of their three children, Jim Welch; her second husband, Harry Brownfield, and her third husband, Glen Tuttle. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Sarah Wilkinson and George Karl of Peoria, Illinois.
She is survived by her three children, Karl Welch of East Peoria, Larry Welch of Tyler, Texas, and Debbie Krempasky of Paducah, Kentucky.
Janet, a retired teacher in District 150, Peoria, Illinois received her M.S. degree from Illinois State University.
Besides teaching and raising her three children, Janet was a life-long college student and loved to travel. More recently, she was an active member of a Mystery book club which along with several other members, wrote the book: Murder on Whiskey Row by Book’em Mystery Readers, Peoria, Illinois – 2015.
A memorial celebration of her life will take place September 17, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at the Lutheran Cemetery, 914 South Pleasant Street, Peoria, Illinois.
