Obituary for Janet Sepich
Janet D. Sepich 86, of 2724 W. Reservoir Blvd Peoria, passed away at 4:49pm Monday August 30, 2010 at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria. She was born on February 9, 1924 to William and Nora (O’Leary) Dunn in Canton, IL. Surviving are four children; Jim Sepich of Kansas City, MO, John (Kathy) Sepich of Dunlap, IL, Marti (Paul) Bullock of Dunlap, IL, and Rob (Joanne) Sepich of Madison, WI, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Also surviving is one sister; Ruth (Tom) Byrnes of Madison, WI and two nephews and two nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters. She last worked at Methodist Medical Center as secretary to director of medical services and helped coordinate conferences for continuing education, retiring in September of 1986. Her hobbies over the years included sewing, needle crafts, gardening and playing bridge. For the past eleven years she enjoyed being a resident of Proctor Endowment Home and appreciated the wonderful care and special friendships she made there. She was a member of the Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary, the Methodist Retirees Club and St. Vincent De Paul Parish. Memorials may be made to the Proctor Endowment Home in her name. Cremation has been accorded and services and burial at St. Joseph Cemetery in Canton will be held at a later date.
