Obituary for James Russell
James D. Russell, 92, of Peoria passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at his residence. He was born August 17, 1926 in Allentown, PA to Guy John and Sarah Belle Miller Russell. He married Marjorie Ann Williams May 16, 1951 in Friendship, NY; she survives. He is also survived by his children, Peggy Russell, Richard Russell, Sue (Chris) Peterson, David (Sharon) Russell, Gail Russell; grandchildren, Jenni, Shannon, Chevan, Kristine, Linsey, Josh, Jim, Alex, Tim, Jason, Emilea; 23 great-grandchildren and siblings, Janet Scott and Jane Bailey. His parents; son, Randy Russell; two sisters and eight brothers preceded him in death. James loved the outdoors, gardening, working in his yard but most of all he loved his family and grandkids. Cremation has been accorded and private family services will be held. Memorials may be made to the Peoria Ronald McDonald House in his name.
