Obituary for James Platt
James D. Platt, 50, of Mackinaw passed away Sunday, March 29, 2020 at his residence.
He was born August 25, 1969 in Pekin.
He is survived by his mother, Delaine S. Platt; father, Bruce W. Platt; sister, Jennifer (Troy) Wheat; nieces and nephews, Brendan, Maia, Cora and Connor Wheat and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather.
James was super super smart. He loved to be creative, write music, creating apps and websites. He loved his friends, most of all he loved his family especially his nieces and nephews. James fought his sickness with courage, dignity and grace. He will be greatly missed by many.
Memorials may be made to Wheat Children at CEFCU.
Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
