Obituary for James M. Jones
James M. Jones, 44, of Peoria passed away Friday, June 28, 2024, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born August 13, 1979, in Peoria to James A. and Burneta M. Selburg Jones. His father; brother, Robert Jones and sister, Vicki Goins preceded him in death.
He is survived by his mother, Burneta M. Jones; siblings, Beth (Philip) Bowers, Jamie (Andy) Lowe, Michael (Karen) Cleeton and many nieces and nephews.
James worked for State Farm.
He loved his family. He enjoyed spending time with his family and countless friends. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.
Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in his name.
