Obituary for James Lane
James William Lane 67, of North Pekin passed away Tuesday January 4, 2011 at his residence. He was born August 30, 1943 in Peoria to Tolbert and Elizabeth Jeane Bailey Lane. He married Wanda Roark in Peoria in 1992. She survives along with his children; Shannon (Gregg) Stewart of Peoria, Joel (Cindy) Lane of East Peoria, Robert Lane of Peoria, Sherry Boyd, Tom and Darrell (Tara). He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren, 2 sisters and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents. James served in the U.S. Army, worked for Allied Welding retiring in 2000 and he loved the Green Bay Packers. Cremation has been accorded and no services will be held at this time.
